Use this link to help you diagnose the target audience of Total Film link

Add a two paragraph discussion to your Total Film House Style Document that answers these questions:

1. Style: How will the TA of Total Film effect the house style of the writing? Think about tone, length, level of formality, language devices

Informal language devices

Most magazines create a sense of informality and they do so by copying spoken language. The following techniques are used to help create that effect. Using the links research what the features are and identify examples of those features:

• Contractions
• Taboo Language (mild & strong)
• Colloquialisms/slang/Youth orientated slang
• Grammatical errors - starting sentences with ‘and’, ‘but’
• Fillers
• Idiomatic phrases
